Landscaping, Planting, and Decorations:

The cemetery is responsible for the planting of all trees, shrubs and flowers in the cemetery.

Fresh flowers will be left one week before they are removed by the cemetery workers, but can be removed prior to one week if deemed unsightly.

Artificial flowers will be left as long as they are in good condition and are on the headstone.

Items left on cement mowing strip of headstone are subject to be moved or removed to allow for proper mowing/trimming of grass.

Items placed on graves without a headstone are subject to being moved or removed in order to prevent grass from dying.

Our teams work hard to keep decorations in their proper place, but decorations may not always be in the correct space due to a number of reasons, including wind/weather, temporary removal to allow for burials or setting of headstones, mowing/trimming, etc. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to Ben Lomond Cemetery being a public cemetery, unfortunately we get occasional reports of theft or broken decorations. Ben Lomond Cemetery is not responsible for any lost or broken items. Any attempt of theft or vandalism is cause for prosecution to the full extent of the law.
